Vichy Normaderm Event

Was invited by Pearlin to attend Vichy's Normaderm event last week and I had a blast there. (Thanks for the invitation Pearlin!)

Before heading towards the restaurant where the event was supposed to be held at, we all met up at Tanglin mall's guardian for a skin analysis at the Vichy counter.

There are actually two types of machines, one is the VichyConsult (which i got to try) and the other i didn't get the name of, but is actually a more detailed analysis.

Here's how the VichyConsult works
VichyConsult actually allows analysis of 5 different types, including Sebum Evaluation, Skin Hydration, Hair Analysis, Skin Ageing, and Pigmentation. I got to try out the Sebum Evaluation and Skin Hydration. This device however, is not foolproof as there are external factors that will affect the results (eg. wearing makeup, or having been out for the whole day)

First, you get to select the race of the person's whose skin is getting analysed.

Then, you get to choose which type of consultation you'd like to try out.

For sebum evaluation, the amount of sebum on your T-zone and U-zone will be analysed

using THIS. A sebupatch!

What this does is it actually works like a oil-blotter. Before starting, the sebupatch will be put in the device (to get rid of 'zero-error for a more precise result) before you placing it on your T or U zone for 10 seconds. Then, the patch will be placed back into the device for analysis.
Here are my results!

As you can see, the grey area for my T zone is darker than my U zone. Which means more sebum is produced!

After getting our analysis done, we walked over to Hediard for the presentation and foooooood :P.

Application:
