I was previously invited to the Dermalogica Overnight Repair Serum Launch held at Group Therapy Cafe to know more about the new addition to their existing Age Smart Range - the Overnight Repair Serum.

The existing Age Smart range consists of 11 products, and now contains 12 due to the new addition of the serum. The Age Smart range was developed the address the underlying factors that lad to signs of premature aging in our skin including wrinkles, uneven pigmentation, dehydration, hyperpigmentation and loss of elasticity and tone to the skin.

Today, I will be reviewing the new product: The Overnight Repair Serum.
The Overnight Repair Serum is designed to firm the skin and restore its capacity to maintain suppleness and moisture using key ingredients like Argan oil, brown seaweed, and botanical oils such as Jasmine, Rose, Ylang-Ylang, Geranium, Rosemary, Cinnamon, and Neroli (check out the ingredients list for the wide array of natural oils used) to help fight signs of aging.. while you sleep. It restores the integrity of the skin by fighting multiple signs of ageing which includes lack-lustre skin,  broken capillaries, and age-related collagen loss.
The serum comes enclosed in a 15ml glass bottle which is roughly about the size of bottles that you would get essential oils in. The dropper of the oil-based serum is also like that of essential oil bottles.

You can choose to mix this into your moisturizer before application or simply apply it onto your skin directly.
I really like the scent of the serum due to the oils which makes it smell really fresh yet soothing. The serum is very light in texture and absorbs quickly without any sticky or oily after-feel.
The serum keeps my skin well hydrated and it feels like a moisture barrier after application. I applied it onto my skin and i found that i wake up to smoother and hydrated skin despite sleeping in an airconditioned room. The Dermalogica Overnight Repair Serum retails for $138 for a 15ml bottle.

Sexylook Hello Kitty Strawberry Perfect Hydrating Mask

Hey girls! Back with another mask review today! Today's review will be on Sexylook's Hello Kitty Strawberry Perfect Hydrating Mask. I bet the Hello Kitty fans are screamingggg and getting so excited about this now. Well I do gotta say, even though I am not a Hello Kitty fan, the packaging is too cute to boot!

The mask comes in a pack of 5, and I really would have prefered if the Hello Kitty was printed on the packaging too as well. Hello Kitty lovers will then be able to keep the beautiful packaging. That being said, the box was still cute tho :).

I didn't take pictures of me using the mask but be assured that this mask is definitely a good by. First up, it's really thin but absorbs the essence really well. The mask came with a plastic sheet (like thin masks) and was dripping wet with essence (i let the extra drip off before applying in on my face). The material of the mask is better than that of the previous range of Sexylook masks I've tried (it is much thinner and silker, somewhat similar to Naruko's Raw Jobs Tears Supercritial CO2 Whitening Mask, and Love More's Aqua Damascus Rose and Arbutin whitening mask) and the fit of the mask is amazing! It is of a good size and covers my face up well.
The essence absorbs into the skin very quickly and my skin feels more hydrated, supple, and smooth to the touch. Definitely will repurchase it! The scent is simply marvellous - just like the name of the mask suggests, it has the scent of strawberries and boy it doesn't disappoint; the scent of strawberries are fragrant yet not over-powering or overly-sweet, which makes it feel like an extra pampering session when using it.

Sexylook Hello Kitty Strawberry Perfect Hydrating Mask is available exclusively at selected Watsons stores and Secretive.sg. Check out Sexylook's facebook page for more updates as well :).

Enavose Cellogist Youth Guard Cream

Awhile back i received a specialised packaged from Enavose. I really like the way they had personalised the package for me.

Here's what was inside the beautiful package!

And I reveal to you the product I will be reviewing today.
Since it's launch, the Cellogist Youth Guard Cream has won many awards and has been featured in Bazzar Beauty Awards 2011, CozyCot Holy Grail 2011 as well as Style Best Beauty Buys 2011.

Appearance first, the bottle is nice and sleek and will definitely sit nicely on a vanity. The product comes with a cap and is dispensed by pump - yay for pumps because it's more hygenic! One thing i like was that the pump came with a lock, so it's extra assurance that it won't spill if you're carrying it around.
Here are the 8 benefits it has on your skin!
1. Helps reduce wrinkles and fine lines
2. Helps improve skin collagen density and elasticity
3. Helps reduce sun and age spots
4. Helps increase epidermal moisture levels
5. Boosts radiance and glow
6. Refines pore appearance
7. Softens and smoothes skin texture
8. Strengthens skin resistance and defence to external pollutants

Even though it is an anti aging product, it is forumalated to suit nearly every women. I feel that anti-aging routines should start early because prevention is always better than cure. If you are only starting when you see signs of ageing, it's probably already too late!!
For the women in their..
20's : Prevents first signs of ageing such as fine lines and maintains skin firmness.
30's : Reinforces the youth genes in skin to combat fine lines, early wrinkles, and loss of elasticity.
40's : Intense skin repair to diminish fine lines and wrinkles, while boosting suppleness and radiance.

The Enavose Cellogist Youth Guard Cream is a slightly thicker cream that what i am generally used to, but smells really nice. The cream is really rich so you only need a bit of it at a time. It spreads out easily but takes a little while longer than usual for it to be completely absorbed. I won't recommend this to people who have oily skin entirely because this will probably be way too rich for them (however they can still apply this to the dryer parts of their skin if they have combination skin.)

Hada Labo Super Hyaluronic Acid Moisturizing UV Milk SPF 50 PA+++ : 3 times the benefits!

Tuesday, May 22, 2012
SponsoredI can't stress on how important sunscreen is for our skin, especially with the weather which is so sunny here in Singapore (side note: even if its not sunny, you should also apply your sunblock because they are able to penetrate through clouds and windows). I have previously briefly covered the sunrays on a blogpost for Sunplay, so do drop by there to know a little more about UV rays.

Today, my review will be on Hada Labo's UV Milk. We've come to know Hada Labo for it's SHA lotion which is supposed to lock up 12x the moisture as compared to regualry hydraulic acid, that is sticks to the basics and doesn't add any unneccessary additives, and for it's famous tag line of "One drop locks up an ocean" so I was really excited when this product just launched, I headed to Watsons and Guardian to look for it - only to find out that it was sold out nearly everywhere so I jumped at my chance for this sponsorship LOL.
The UV milk is gentle on skin, as it is free of ar)ficial ingredients such fragrances, mineral oil, alcohol and colorant that may burden the skin. This UV milk also keeps the skin’s pH balanced, and is rigorously tested for low skin irrita)on. It is suitable for daily usage on the face, neck and body.
I have previously review their Cleansing Oil as well as have went on to buy their facial cleanser, SHA Lotion, and moisturizer - and so far none of them disappointed me at all, so I am having high expectations for this product.

It comes in a 38ml bottle and retails at Watsons for $19.90. The bottle is simple in packaging and easy to bring about. I also brought this along for my cruise trip :).

The uv milk has a slighter thicker consistency, but glides onto the skin and spreads out really easily and evenly. It also dries on the skin clear without any residue. After application, it absorbs quickly and leaves my skin feels smoother and more hydrated; because this is really hydrating, i skip my moisturizer and just replace it with this for my moisturizer, sunblock, and makeup primer.
The product doesn't have much of a scent, which will definitely be good for those with sensitive skin - but do take note that this doesn't control secretion of oil so those with oily skin might still want to add on with powder or an oil controling skincare product before applying this.

A little heads up for you girls and guys: join Hada Labo(sg) Facebook (https://www.facebook.com/hadalabosg) page to participate in upcoming free sampling campaign and giveaways.

Naruko's Raw Job's Tears Supercritical CO2 Whitening Mask Review

Hey guys! From one of my favourite's post last year, one of the products that I mentioned i really really loved was Naruko's Raw Job's Tears Supercritical CO2 Whitening Mask. I have lost all the pictures i took previously of the mask when i just received it due to my hard disk getting corrupted, so i have some missing information pictures. Hope you guys won't mind it.

I'm such a terrible procrastinator, you'd notice that the pictures I took with the masks was from before I had my hair redyed, *face palm*.

Even though I'm a HUGE fan of pretty mask packagings, this simple deep red packaging adds a touch of simplicity, class, and a feel of luxury.

Just like the previous Naruko products I've received, this mask's box is recyclable! This box was quickly transformed into a mini drawer which i now use to store my plasters (aka band-aids).

Physical appearance and packaging aside, its time to test out the mask!

The mask is super thin and comes packed with a plastic sheet. I have mentioned before previously that thin masks tend to come with plastic sheets attached with them to better facilitate the unfolding of the mask and to prevent the user from tearing the mask.
First things first, the material of the mask is sooooooo silky and smooth, it feels amazing on the skin. The essence is light and absorbs quickly without a film or sticky/oily after-feel. Also, it helps that the mask smells really nice and fresh too!

The fit of the mask is alright, not great, but not too shabby. It was a tad too big for me (which is good for those with bigger faces) so it didn't fit too great around the nose area. The fit around my forehead, cheek, and other areas was as per normal.

One of the parts I really like about this mask is that is reduces redness well and quickly. After using the mask, i can notice that redness around my cheek area is reduced, as well as a lightening/brightening effect. The mask retails at Naruko's website for $19.90 for a box of 10, or $5 for 2 pieces.

Disclaimer: The reviews of the product are entirely 100% from me, and is my honest opinion of the product. I am not in any way paid to do this review, nor influenced by any external sources regarding my thoughts on the product.

Kicking off the week with a blogshop recommendation for you girls! You know how accessories can change the look of an outfit? In my opinion, a bag is also able to complete an outfit for you just like how a pair of shoes does. Here, I introduce to you a blogshop that is dedicated to letting you find the perfect bag to match your outfit : Missy Lemon.

Missy Lemon. has a wide variety of bags, from cluthes to bucket bags, I'm sure you'll find something that you will definitely like! They hold both preorders (premium range here) and also carry instocks for selected models, so you can pick from the instocks if you're somebody that doesn't like waiting! Also, check out the sale page if you're on a lower budget :).

I got the chance to pick a bag of my choice and my pick was from their premium range, the Steprey Bag.
My friends will most definitely know this - I'm someone that likes really big bags because i usually carry a lot of things out. Plus, this comes with shoulder straps! Plus, the fact that this bag had so many colours to chooose from left me spoilt for choices, but i still ended up getting the off-white Ivory colour.

The bag has 2 main compartments as well as an exposed zipper compartment at the bag. The inner part of the bag has another zipper compartment as well.
See how spacious the bag is? Plenty of space for more!
What I really liked about it were the golden accents such as the turn clasp as well as the handle's 'buckle'. Plus, the bag actually has a really sturdy base! +++++ points!

See how big the bag actually is? I'm sure i can fit alot more things into it!

Check out Missy Lemon to find your perfect bag! And here's a little something for my readers : key in may10 for 10 % off storewide @ Missy Lemon (excluding sale).
