Completeing that "Korean Girl" look

As you guys can probably tell from the title, I've completely run out of ideas of how to title my posts - and I can't just title this post with the colour of my hair because there isn't a specific colour for that, and I'll get to that as the post goes on. Anyhow, my justification for the title is because after I got this hair colour (and my braces removed), I've gotten a lot of people telling me I look like a Korean girl now -which I still don't see how... to the extent that the girl who works at my favourite sushi place (*cough*Genki Sushi) now calls me 韩国妹 which means "Korean Girl" in English.

So if you guys haven't realised (because of the vauge title), this is another post of me getting my hair done by Caely at my hair sponsor's - Shunji Matsuo @ 313. So this time round, what I did was a change of colour as well as trim chop off a good bit of my hair. I haven't taken off so much from my hair for years now!

If you've forgotten how my hair looked like, here's a couple of pictures to refresh your memory, remember those pink and purple ends~ It now looks weird to me lol~

From my previous experience, I now know how long it can take me to do my hair - especially on a busy day. So I prepped myself with episodes of La Bi Xiao Xin to watch while getting my hair done ehehehe.

And now, let the transformation begin!

Goodbye Braces!

Hey guys, like I mentioned before, I've already removed my braces! As you can see with the pictures I've taken and posted on social media last week, I'm really enjoying taking pictures without braces... until yesterday when I collected my retainers... clicking it into place was HELL.

My jaw was too small to accomodate all that teeth, thats why I had to extract 4 teeth. My teeth were very possibly one of the messiest sets I've ever seen and I was really glad it took less than the 3 years my orthodontist initially estimated it for.

Dare to bare with Wax XXX

The other day, thanks to an invitation from fellow blogger Catherine, Tbts + Aki and I went for our Brazilian waxing appointment at Beauty Affairs (27 Purvis Street #01-02, Singapore 188604) together. We had lunch at KFC at Bugis before heading over. The place was relatively easy to find, it's just the lane behind Bras Basah (did i spell it right?) which is next to NLB. Along the lane where Naumi Hotel is, and it's right next to Kiliney Kopitiam at Purvis Street.

Mr Bunny Travel Kit

Got my Sigma Mr Bunny Kit from Luxola today and I'm really happy because it only cost me $75 and 1 day for it to be delivered to my house, as opposed to having to order it directly from Sigma (shipping alone costs more than 1/2 the price of the brush set). Delivery was in the form of courier to my doorstep, and costs were covered thanks to Luxola.

And finally.....

My braces are off! Got them removed early this morning and took a quick snap while waiting for my turn to get my teeth cleaned.

Woohooo! Will probably do a blog post on it, maybe about how braces went for me and will only be getting my retainers next week but I'm soooo excited now you can see the whole chunk of verbal vomit without any punctuations.

Last week on Instagram

For those of you who don't follow me on Twitter/Instagram (@jamietyj), here's what you might have missed.

Had Strictly Pancakes with the boy since he was craving for their sweet pancakes, while I have my usuals - small stack with bacon and scrambled eggs. I never unstood how he can chow down 3 pancakes + the ice cream/sweets and call it dinner. We're thinking of trying Wild Honey next time, any recommendations??

My current favourite hairstyle. It's actually a very simple do and looks quite photogenic (from the front, not profile since i have a big jaw). Tutorial, anyone?

New display pictures for my Facebook page and profile. Both are taken on the same day with that hairdo. I also discovered a new style of makeup i like to do now that is really photogenic, I'm soooo happy with it. Pictures were taken with my ring light on and my favourite camwhore camera - the Casio Exilim TR150.

Few more pictures of myself and my blogger babes.

And, my nails this week... colours are from exposed. Some jade-ish base with glitter tips of similar colours.

I've been having fun exploring fonts and textures on photoshop so you'll probably see me making images like these more often. They're really simple to make and keeps my mental note to self more visible for me, and makes it easy for me to remember, and since I check by my blog daily, why not put it here? I'm pretty sure the stuff I want to remember/do are what many people always forget as well, so feel free to take the image for personal use! :)
