Went out on a movie date with B earlier today and finally caught Despicable Me 2. The minions are soooo cute omg. Anyone who has yet to watch it needs to catch it! Although.. the part about El Macho was given out since we both play Minion Rush and the El Macho map was updated before we got to see the movie...
Wore my romper from The Velvet Dolls today because I wanted something casual yet suitable for a short impromptu date with the boy... and this is the perfect piece. Not sure if you guys saw my Instagram post on it earlier today but it really does fit me perfectly. Usually I tend to steer away from rompers because my body is very improportional (short body, long legs + wide shoulders, narrow hips) and rompers don't fit me like 90% of the time... but this fit super good!
Plus, since it has a high-waisted cut it makes your legs look even longer. Love the laced details as well - the seams are well sewn so no need for worries about them coming loose. Comes in 4 colours but I got white (and super glad that it's not sheer because it has a good inner lining) because it's a staple piece. Material-wise.. this is a light chiffon (not the cheap type) that feels super light and breathable.
Wanted to wear it yesterday for brunch with the family (with sandals) but I got it dirty while trying to iron it... Lucky for me I got to wear it today instead though. Will definitely get more wear out of it! Thinking of wearing this for my batam trip this weekend ^^.
