For the most of us, a watch is more than just a mechanism for us to tell time: it is also a piece of accessory which we often us to match with our outfits and "arm candies" - which is also the reason why we are no longer going around wearing plastic-strapped watches that we use to when we were just young children.

Personally, apart from being accoustomed to checking the time on my watch (which I can do with my phone), I find that a watch really adds to the entire outfit and gives it an extra touch. I'm not talking about Rolexes here, but a well-made and beautifully designed watch is definitely pleasing to the eye.

For those of you who are like me and have yet to heard of Aries Gold until recently.. I'm gonna share some background of Aries Gold with you. Aries Gold was actually established since 1928. Previously, Aries Gold had been catering to the older crowd with their Heritage Range of watches, but are now moving onto the younger crowd with designs catering to the 21~35 year olds.

Personally, I was shocked to see the prices of the watches because they were so affordable for the materials that are used to make the watches? Think: Sapphire Crystal (which makes your watch virturally scratch-proof), Swarovski Elements (swarovski makes the shiniest crystals!), solid stainless steel instead of hollow kind (which makes it more durable) plus... 10 years warrenty!

While picking my watch.. I was soooo overwhelmed because they are so gorgeous! They even have matching watches for couples (definitely considering getting a set for B and I next time).

I had the hardest time picking between the one I chose and the black studs one next to it!

I can't even tell you guys how much I love this watch because it is just sooooo beautiful and simple. I like that it's ceramic (which is very durable) plus that it's casual yet classy. Totally suitable for an everyday watch. For those of you who don't like bling, there's a version of it without the swarovski rim!

Love the attention to details, like their logo on the key.
