Badass

Had a shoot earlier today with Gabriel for The Stage Walk earlier this afternoon, and I took the chance to get Gabriel to help me shoot an OOTD since I won't be meeting B today.

We shot at Blu Kouzina along Bukit Timah Road today, and the place is simply gorgeous. I love the fact that the cafe allows for natural light because the shots we took today were stunning (not me, the lighting), and not to mention - the owner was very nice and hospitable.

I received these items from a pile of mail this week and I couldn't wait to wear the beanie out. I haven't been a fan of beanies when I was younger as my flat forehead always made them look weird on me - but after trying them out during shoots more recently I found that they do look quite cute and I decided to pick out a couple online.

I decided to match the beanie with my new shorts from Topshop, a pair of booties, and a white lace/crochet detailed top to balance out the look, yet retain it's edgy and fun look. Despite the pair of boots being so high, they were really comfortable! I walked in them all day today and my feet didn't ache nor did it give me blisters. Plus, the acrylic heel makes it look like I'm almost "floating" on my tippytoes (plus, it makes my legs go on for miles! Extra brownie points).
