Merry Christmas Eve everyone! While a lot of you are probably busy buying last minute gifts, I'm here drafting this post lolol.

If you followed me on Instagram, you would have found out I did some minor tweakings to my room! The wall my bed is by, to be specific. I used to have mirrors there (if any of you still remembers) and when took the mirrors off, I ripped out a small chuck of the wall as well - which explains why I had to cover it up with the floral paper.... But I'm getting tired of it and I decided it's time to do something about it.

I started out with trying to get paint chips - but I didn't know where to get them so I had to improvise by getting one of these Nippon paint booklets with the paint samples.... and painstakingly cut them out one by one.

After which, I headed to art friend for supplies. 2 12x36" canvas boards, glue, and a few sponge applicators.

Pieced out the colours onto the 2 boards - 1 neutral and 1 colour board

This was my original idea, but there are some hitches along the way ):

Initially, I wanted to use glue for it, but I soon realised it wasn't such a good idea because some of the ends had the tendency to curl up.. I then settled for glue dots which I bought from Kikki-K awhile ago but they weren't sticky enough either so some of the pieces are falling off now.... But will touch them up with double sided tape next time.

Anyway, the colour board took me soooo long to do, I decided to scrape the neutral board and write my name on it instead!!

Here's what it looks like now

Love how well it goes with the fairy lights B's family bought for me when they went to Bangkok earlier this month!
