Sponsored Review
One of the few products that NarukoSG sent me was the Apple Seed & T-Acid Soothing White Serum.

(from naruko.sg)
The Apple Seed & Tranexamic Acid Serum is designed to improve skin roughness, restore damaged skin caused by UVA/UVB rays, pollution or other environmental factors, interrupt and block melanin formation and accumulation. Skin feels soft, smooth and translucent with this serum.

(from Naruko.sg)
"Main Ingredients:
The Apple Seed & Tranexamic Acid series contains the following 5 main ingredients.
Apple seed extract – Helps to promote collagen growth and prevent the formation of wrinkles.
Phytoferulin - It protects skin from external environmental damage and strengthens skin, revitalizing it from within.
Vit A & E - Aids in the absorption of the skincare product and has anti-aging properties.
Tranexamic acid 3% - An effective cosmeceutical ingredient that helps to prevent the appearance of new pigment spots and freckles, and it can treat pigmentations such as chloasmas, freckles, sunburn, dark skin and melanoderma (caused by a using drugs such as steroid)
Tranexamic acid is relatively stable to light, temperature, pH, and oxygen, and no special protections are required to maintain its whitening effect, as compared to conventional whitening ingredients. It is non-irritant and non-sensitive to skin and is safe for use in cosmetics for whitening purpose.
White fungus extract – A natural ingredient that contains high level of moisturizing properties, and continuously lock in moisture in the skin."

Instructions:

Loosely translated to:
Press the pump roughly 2 times to dispense an adequate amount for use. Apply it onto your face, and massage it until it gets absorbed.

+ points for the pump!

(taken from Naruko's Website)

Dispense a good amount for your face

(this amount is just enough for one side of my cheek)
**note that i did put the serum on both cheeks at different times, it's just that i captured the results for the left side of my face only.

My skin tone is actually quite even, apart from my dark eye circles and the redness around my cheek area,

so this serum can help me rectify the problem. And, y'all probably already know I'm a sucker for whitening products.

The serum melted into my skin on contact and turned into a more watery texture, which makes it easier for my skin to absorb it.

And.... immediate results!

The product's manufacture date is also shown at the base of the box

and has a lifespan of 6 months once opened.

(See the 6M logo over there??)

Improves skin roughness: 4/5
My skin did feel smoother and pores have shrunk too. However, this effect was not all that impressive.

Improve skin brightness: 5/5
I feel that after using this, my skin is not only whiter but also brighter (which means that it has effectively countered dull skin) and it gives me a radiant look.

Packaging: 5/5
I really love the clean clinical packaging (and the recyclable box) and i did mention, extra points for the pump because it's alot more hygienic and convenient that way.

Texture: 5/5
It dispenses like a cream before "melting" into a liquidy form into your skin in contact, which makes it a mess-free application.

Scent: 5/5
The scent wasn't too strong, and was mildly soothing and sweet. ++ hearts for it.

Price: 4/5
$30.90 for a 30ml bottle is actually quite reasonable, since it does last a pretty long while considering you only need to pump a couple of times per use. A worthy investment.

Overall: 4.75/5
A worthy purchase and an even worthier investment. This is suitable to combat many skin problems and for many different skin types.

Achieve a brighter, more translucent, and a more even skin tone with Naruko's Apple Seed & T-Acid Soothing White Serum
