Talking about diamonds today!

Earlier this week, Love & Co. invited the boy and I to their store to take a look at their collection of rings and to find out our "perfect" rings. We've been together for a little over 5 years now and because of that, we've often been getting questions about when we are going to get married even though we're both still quite young (I'm 20 and he's 23 for those of you who are curious). Still, there is no harm finding out what type of ring will fit me (and him) best for when that time of our lives arrives.

I actually enjoyed myself looking at the various rings and trying them on (diamonds are indeed a girl's best friend). Didn't know that Love &; Co. actually carries about 300 designs for wedding bands alone - and they can all be customised to fit your needs (size of diamonds, with/without diamonds etc) and come in the choice of 4 different materials - Yellow Gold, Rose Gold, White Gold, Platinum - to best suit your preferences and/or skin tone. Love & Co. also has rings with comfort fit (rounded interior) so that it is more comfortable to wear.

Definitely going to come by here in the future to pick out my wedding bands! (For guys who are interested, they do have a engagement ring/wedding band package).

So moving along, we got to browse and try out different rings to suit our skintone/preferences/fingers. I was told that I (luckily) have long and slender fingers, and my skintone is quite fair so basically any ring will look good on my fingers (yay). The very first one that caught my eye is this wedding band from their Promise collection.
It is actually a thick band and I'm quite surprised at how good it looks and how much I like it. If you guys have seen my rings in my photos/videos, you'd notice that I'm a fan of my thin rings, so I shocked myself when I realised that I actually really liked this ring.

Matching male/female bands.

Some other rings we looked at..
Yellow Gold x Matte Finish wedding bands from their Purete collection. This looks very similar to the couple ring B and I own!

Ribbon rings from their Noeud collection! Too cute!

More wedding bands!

Like abovementioned, Love & Co. also carries engagement rings.
Variety of different cut diamonds to choose from. The prongs as well as ring bands are customisable as well.

You girls know how we always grew up thinking "The bigger the diamond, the better"? Well, I found out that day it wasn't neccessarily true! Since my ring finger is quite slender, I tried on a couple of diamond engagement rings and actually I much prefer 0.3c to the 0.5c (which I felt looked too big).
0.3c on my ring finger!

Here's the size comparison - 1.0c, 0.5c, 0.3c respectively.

At the end of the event, here are the "perfect" rings for us!

Love & Co. outlets can be found in both Singapore and Malaysia.

  6. Ha! That's my wedding band! You need to diligently remove the dirt that gets stuck in between since there are a lot of lines and gaps. And patience when you slide each dirt off the gutter.
